ZhaZha
ZhaZha , a GDHS adopted dog, was a long time friend and traveling companion to her family. They sent us a note, saying, in part, "We feel so blessed to have had her in our lives for the time we did. She never aspired to be an alpha female, all she ever wanted was to love all and be loved - That is ZhaZha's legacy."
ZhaZha will be missed by all that knew her.

Keeper was with her family for 13 years. She has left them with many happy and loving memories and they will miss her dearly.

Bossy
Bossy, a beautiful Mastiff with personality and pizzazz, lived with Mark and Gillian Abramson for many years. He enriched their lives every day. Bossy is remembered as a wonderful companion who brought smiles to everyone he met. Bossy loved the beach and being with "his family".
He will be missed, but never forgotten.

In Memory of...
McKenzie
McKenzie, a sweet Lakeland Terrier and a long time companion to Channing and Tony Penna, will be fondly remembered by all who met her. Tony and Channing have recently adopted another of our dogs, a sweet little dachshund named Darci. Their very generous donation in McKenzie's memory will allow us to help many, many animals.
McKenzie's spirit keeps on giving and is very much with us.

Zach
November 1, 1997 - April 29, 2011
Zach was the perfect friendly boy. He never met a living thing he didn't like. He was caring and sharing with his brothers and sisters both canine and human. He let parrots sit on his shoulder, ferrets run over his back, kittens play in his fuzzy tail, and troops of Girls Scouts dote on him. As long as someone was loving him, he was happy. He was very well loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Fifi
1995 - February 22, 2011
This little Chihuahua came to the Greater Derry Humane Society in 1996, so fragile and undernourished that we weren't sure she was going to survive. She immediately stole her foster mom's heart and never had to look any further for her forever home. She recovered well and spent the next 15 years being hailed as "Queen Fifi". Her favorite pastimes were being pampered and bossing around her Lab and Chihuahua brothers and sisters.

Willy
December 25, 1998 to June 18, 2010
Willie was a sweet pug adopted to a loving home in Salem NH. Willie is sorely missed. Life is not the same without this funny, brave, constant companion.

Linc
Linc was a fine role model. He visited nursing homes and "taught" other therapy dogs how to behave. He shared his life with his two canine companions, Lucy and Trot.
